Louise from Hamsa Space, came to me recently with a brief for her new company branding.

Although Hamsa Space has nothing to do with the Ancient meaning directly, Louise wanted to invent a modern twist on this ancient symbol, giving the company branding a youthful but professional appeal.

For those who aren't in the know a Hamsa is an ancient Middle Eastern amulet symbolising the Hand of God. In all faiths it is a protective sign. It brings its owner happiness, luck, health, and good fortune.

I think anyone in the events industry needs a bit of luck and good fortune if you ask me, it takes a certain type of person for that role, and Louise is definitely that, i've witnessed first hand her ability to juggle mum life and this wonderful business.

So with that in mind I came up with Louise branding. I carefully considered the nod to the Hamsa symbol whilst making sure I didn't go to radical and swing over into Austin Powers territory. Tricky but I got there in the end. First Logo across to Louise and she loved it. You can find her on facebook, Instgram & Twitter @hamsaspace and online www.hamsaspace.co.uk (website to be designed)

Her variations above, I also chose a set of three harmonic colours for her branding..

And followed it up with a business card design, which have now been printed, on a gorgeous thick stock with a velvet touch lamination.
