I recently had the honour of creating a logo for a fantastic new Charity called Out of Class.
"Out of Class is a space for discovery and growth where academically challenged young people can utilise skills rarely used in the classroom. Helping young people find something they love and excel at and having the support and guidance to turn those skills into a future is what OOC is all about. The young people on the project are encouraged to try new things and reflect in a none judgemental environment where the process is just as important as the finished product."
The Trustees came to me with an idea of what they wanted to achieve from the final logo but not a clear idea of what they wanted to look like, which is fine, that's my job!
It needed to some how visually explain the types of activities that would be available to the youngsters, and also portray reflection and aspiration and a wonderful feeling of possibility.
My final logo suggestions were welcomed with a wonderful response, which is always lovely. Another proud addition to my portfolio.
I wish this organisation the greatest of luck, I'm certain they will achieve wonderful things, as will the children on their program.
